Here
are some suggestions to consider when preparing to sign up for classes:
|
1. |
Do NOT take a course because a friend is taking it. |
|
2. |
Do NOT take a course because you think it is easy. |
|
3. |
Fill your schedule with meaningful courses - consider areas of study you are interested in after graduating from SFHS. |
|
4. |
Know what the course is all about BEFORE you select it. |
|
5. |
Take enough courses to keep you on track for graduation. |
|
6. |
Try to broaden yourself with courses that give you a different view or outlook. Take the opportunity to grow. |
|
7. |
Accept the challenge of developing a selection of courses for grades 9-10-11-12 so there will be direction to your choices that will fulfill your career needs. |
There are many opportunities available to you as a student
at St. Francis High School. Take
advantage of as many as you can. These
can be four of the greatest years of your life, but you have to make it
happen.
